Conversion of a disused warehouse into a Fitness Club & Gymnasium

April 10, 2016

Working closely with the designer, our management team were contracted to develop a disused warehouse in the centre of Driffield into an attractive leisure facility.  Delivered within 12 weeks, the conversion provided a state-of-the-art fitness facility for members and a and successful business location for the owners.

Business owners Mr & Mrs Iveson had a vision for their company; they needed space and a convenient setting for their thriving gym.  A disused warehouse, not far from the centre of Driffield, provided the perfect location and ideal dimensions. However, it needed completely renovating.

Enter chartered surveyor Rodney Dukes, he interpreted the Iveson’s vision and came up with design which allowed the cavernous space to be sectioned into areas according to the needs of the members. He agreed a design with the client and recommended our management team.

The work was completed within the 12 week deadline to the delight of the owners. This fantastic facility now boasts a well equipped central gymnasium area for members to work-out; a light and airy aerobics studio; well-appointed changing rooms with toilets, as well as a welcoming reception area.

Dukes commented, “I needed a construction company who had the attention to detail to faultlessly interpret my plans for the client and complete the project in a timely manner. The quality ethic of the team on site was fantastic and the client is really pleased with the results.”
