Being in the construction industry we get to work on a lot of ground-breaking projects. With renewable energy close to our hearts, in addition to wind turbines, we enjoy working on biogas installations. Here’s a little more about the fascinating subject.
The decision to place a 50m high wind turbine on your property is not one that landowners take lightly. The installation is a significant long-term investment which will change the outlook of the landscape for a lifetime. Wind direction and strength must be right, permissions must be in place and all local opposition considered before the life-changing structure can be lifted into position.

April 10, 2016
Working closely with the designer, our management team were contracted to develop a disused warehouse in the centre of Driffield into an attractive leisure facility. If you don’t already follow us on Twitter – well now’s your chance to get sociable! We regularly tweet images of progress on site – so you can really see what we get up to. Plus we’re always on hand to answer your direct questions.
Here are some of the photos I took on my ‘phone this summer. I loved working on projects involving wind turbines and solar farms, at locations throughout the UK. Meeting some fabulous people and working alongside some really knowledgeable professionals.
I’ve had them made into a short video which gives a great insight into what it is like for the team every day working on site. I hope you enjoy the video.
New home for Pryjen Construction
September 10, 2015
It’s been a busy summer here at Pryjen HQ. Not only have we been installing wind turbines as far apart as Gloucester and Cumbria, but we have moved our head offices into larger premises.
The previous facilities were in the centre of Bridlington’s old town, and were beginning to feel a little cramped. Now our business is based out of the picturesque village of Watton, near Driffield. We have plenty of space for our gear and will be surrounded by farm land and rolling green hills.
The new telephone number is 01377 271550 and our new address is Bridge House, Carr Lane, Watton, Driffield,E. Yorkshire, YO25 9AH – do drop in if you are ever passing.

You may remember our prize draw at Driffield Show recently; the winner was Kay Traves from Flamborough. She very kindly sent us a photo of herself and her friend taking tea at Betty’s. Glad you enjoyed it Kay!
